The most familiar reason why people tend to work out is none other than to lose weight. Think again. Regular strength training will not shed those kilos away. Weight training builds muscle, helps burn out 400 kilojoules a day indeed but one does have to take in 400 extra kilojoules to keep muscles bustling. Yet again, there are a number of good reasons why you should go for strength training this summer season.
Look Slimmer.
People will not notice your weight unless you weigh yourself infront of them. But they will surely take note on how toned your body is since muscles tightens everything. You will look great wearing summer outfits since this is the season to show off some skin!
Gain more energy.
Strength training will trigger neuro-chemical surge on our cellular level that can fight exhaustion. There is no room for a weary physique when you are outdoors. You could barely enjoy your vacation if you don’t have enough energy.
Stay healthy.
Weights improve bone density, lowers glucose levels and cholesterol, reduces risk for diabetes (type 2) and heart disease. Take good care of yourself. You don’t wanna spend your summer whining over an aching body.
