Hospital food has never been this good! This is because the internationally acclaimed chefs of the Center of Culinary Arts, Manila (CCA, Manila) tied up with hospital nutritionist/dietitians to revolutionize hospital food from bland and boring to attractive and appetizing.

"This is perhaps the first time a hospital and a culinary school formed a partnership to come up with regular and therapeutic diets for patients," said CCA, manila managing director Ma. Paz L. Sales. "CCA, Manila is here to validate and affirm what a kitchen should be, to make food preparations appealing and enticing to patients.

Among the hospitals that are revving up their menu through CCA, Manila's help are Makati Medical Center and The Medical City in Pasig.

The Makati Medical Center had their kitchen staff and 10 of their cooks trained to enhance their knife skills, and dexterity in preparing soups, sauces, and finally a broader knowledge in various cuisines from Asian to American, French, Filipino and Japanese to name a few. The cooks recently graduated from the Fundamentals in Culinary Arts Course and were certified by CCA, Manila. The graduation was attended by officers and top management of the school and the Makati Medical Center.
